Mask with Shell Teeth

Mesquite Wood and Sea Shells from Baja California

16"H   x   12"W   x    6"DP

This piece was rather spontaneous in the making, and captured a certain diabolical nature of my mask making at the time. The shell teeth were from a collection brought back from the primitive beaches in Mexico, where we traveled often during that time of my life. For whatever reason, this is one of my favorites.
